ATA Conventions 2018 has ended
This page shows the most up to date schedule of convention sessions offered by Association staff, instructors, and consultants.  As changes occur, they will be reflected here and speakers will be contacted directly.  Room information will be added as it is made available by the convention associations.  Please refer to the Info for Speakers link for instructions on updating your bio, uploading/sharing files with delegates, and hotel information for each convention.  If you have any questions, please contact dan.grassick@ata.ab.ca.

Students need to do more than just listen to learn. In this workshop, the ideas behind cooperative and collaborative learning will be explored with the emphasis on practical strategies that can be used in the classroom. Essential elements such as positive interdependence, interaction, accountability, interpersonal and group work skills, and processes will be explored.
